Our Vision
Founded in July 2022, the Lusitanus Dressage Team brings together Brazilian-bred and Portuguese Lusitano horses with world-class riders in Portugal, creating a unique pathway from breeding excellence to Olympic-level competition.

Our Journey
From a bold bet on Brazilian-bred Lusitanos to competing at the world stage — every milestone is a step toward our Olympic dream.
The first two Brazilian-bred Lusitanos arrive in Nazaré, Portugal: Odin Comando SN from Haras do Castanheiro and Ibérico das Mangueiras from Haras das Mangueiras.
Poema becomes the 3rd member of the team. Poema is the 3rd Silver Medal winner at the National Horse Fair, Golegã 2022.
Odin Comando SN wins Champion Male, 4 years old, at the National Horse Fair in Golegã. Poema joins as the team's third member, earning a Silver Medal.
Odin Comando SN is crowned Champion of Champions at the Ponte de Lima Horse Fair and featured on the cover of Equitação magazine.

Carminho Filipe, with Iberico, will represent Portugal at the European Dressage Championships in 2026, after qualifying in the CDI in the Children's class (in the Czech Republic).
Gilberto Filipe has been competing in Dressage and Working Equitation with Ibérico.
